I am a lecturer at the The University of Portsmouth and part of the Centre for Comparative and Evolutionary Psychology. Most of my research fits into two broad topics

• hormonal influences on the psychology of women
• how humans adaptively avoid cues of contagion including the regulation of disgust sensitivity

I also cohost a blog and podcast called The Vegan Option.
